Job Summary

Holdem Group is looking for a Business Development Manager who will be tasked with improving and growing the business aspects of the company by fostering and developing relationships with customers, suppliers and other partners. The manager will also work to improve profitability through careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets or to enhance the operation of the businesses, position or reputation.
 

Duties, Responsibilities and Tasks
Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet them
Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met
Work strategically by carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
Draw up client contracts
Have a good understanding of the company's products and services and be able to advise others about them
Train members of the team, arranging external training where appropriate
Work with the marketing department to discuss promotional strategy and activities
Attending relevant conferences, meetings, and industry events
Be aware of trends and changes in the business world

Education and Training
University Degree in Business, Marketing or related field

Languages
FLUENT in French & English, any other language considered an asset.

Experience

Proven prior experience in sales, marketing or another related field

3 – 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role
